For the vast majority of ClickTime users, you don’t need any special network configuration settings in order to access and use ClickTime. Simply having Internet access is enough. However, for some companies who need to white-list ClickTime on their company firewall or proxy servers, there may be some changes your IT department needs to make to ensure you can access and integrate with ClickTime.

Email and SPF
ClickTime sends email notifications to people for various reasons including reminders to complete your timesheet and notifying managers and administrators when timesheets are waiting for their approval. If your company isn’t receiving emails from ClickTime properly, you may need to configure your email or spam detection systems to allow email notifications from ClickTime. You may also need to add ClickTime’s mail server IP addresses to the SPF records for your company’s domain(s).
Name / Description | IP Addresses |
mailer.clicktime.com | 192.235.122.226 through 192.235.122.230, 198.24.46.225, 198.24.46.228, 198.24.46.229, 72.28.98.34 |
Please note: ClickTime sends emails in response to a person’s actions such as submitting a timesheet for approval. To ensure these emails aren’t trapped by spam filters, the emails are sent with a “From” value that looks like “Jane Smith via ClickTime” and a “From email address” of the ClickTime System. There is also a “Reply To” email header that includes the person’s email address who took the action and triggered the email.
This “Reply To” header enables modern email systems and email client applications to send replies and automated responses to the appropriate email address (e.g. jane.smith@acme.com) rather than responding to the ClickTime System that generated the email message.
