In addition to detailed reports like the Expense Sheet Report and Expense Export (Beta), ClickTime provides several simpler expense reports that summarize costs across projects, clients, types, and mileage. These reports are best for quick analysis and high-level insights.
All of these reports can be run from the Company → Reports page (for Administrators and Managers with report permissions). Employees may also see select reports from their My Reports page.
Expense Summary by Client and Project
- Purpose: Quick overview of expenses grouped by client and project.
- Use Case: Track total spending for client billing or internal budget review.

Expense Project and Person Summary
- Purpose: Breaks down expenses by person within each project.
- Use Case: Identify which team members are incurring project expenses.

- Purpose: Summarizes expenses by type (e.g., Meals, Lodging, Mileage).

- Purpose: Provides a raw export of all expense data for a chosen date range.
