Note: Resource Management is available only with ClickTime's Premier plan. Your organization must have this module enabled to access the features described in this article.
Resource Management (RM) helps you plan capacity, manage budgets, and allocate work. Before you can use it, you’ll need to enable it in your company settings.
Step 1: Enable Required Features
To make the Resource Management tab appear, enable these features:
- Go to Company → Preferences → General Company Information.
- Check both Time Billing Features and Project Estimation Features.
- Save your changes.
Step 2: Select Resource Management
- On the same Preferences page, scroll to the Project Estimation section.
- Choose Resource Management.
- Save again.
Step 3: Confirm Billing Setup
Resource Management works with any billing rate structure, but there’s one requirement: Billable status must be determined at the Project level.
Check this in Company → Preferences → Billing Rates and confirm Projects is selected as the billable object.
