The Bulk Delete Time Entries feature allows Administrators (and Managers with the right permissions) to delete time entries across multiple employees’ timesheets in one action. This is especially helpful when multiple employees have incorrectly logged worked time or Time Off.

To access the Bulk Delete feature:
- Go to Company → Advanced.
- Click Bulk Changes.
- Select Delete Time Entries from Timesheets.
How to Bulk Delete Time Entries
Step 1: Select a Date Range
Choose the time period from which entries should be deleted. Unlike Bulk Add, Bulk Delete supports removing entries across multiple days at once.
Step 2: Choose Entry Type
You can delete entries for:
- A specific Project/Task combination, or all Projects/Tasks within the date range.

Time Off entries — either all, or filtered by a specific Leave Type.
Note: This applies only to Approval Not Required Leave Types or Company Holidays. If none are active, the Time Off menu will not appear.
Step 3: Select Employees
Decide which employees’ entries should be deleted:
- An individual person
- Everyone in a Division
- Everyone in the same Employment Type
Note: Inactive employees must be reactivated before their entries can be deleted.
Step 4: Bulk Delete Time
Click Bulk Delete Time to proceed. A confirmation prompt will appear: “Click OK to proceed.”
Important: Bulk Deletion cannot be undone. If needed, you can re-add entries using Bulk Add Time Entries, but this must be done one day at a time.
Results
- A confirmation message will show how many employees’ entries were deleted.
- If entries could not be deleted, ClickTime will provide details such as:
- Timesheet is locked
- Timesheet is waiting for approval or approved (must be rejected first)
- Employee inactive
- Project/Task/Leave Type unavailable
- You can download a Bulk Deletion Error Log for more details when errors occur.
