Report Studio is the newest advanced customer report writer to join ClickTime's reporting offering. Report Studio supports interactive displays that showcase and explore your ClickTime data. You can add visual representations of the data (referred to as visualizations) to a report to make your data easier to interpret, perform manipulations on the data to customize which information to display, and organize data into multiple reports on a page to create interactive dashboards. You can quickly and easily create polished reports without requiring a large investment in design time.
This article and the associated articles in our Report Studio series will walk report designers through the basics of how to craft reports in Report Studio. This feature is available for organizations who have added Report Studio to their plan or are on an Enterprise package. If you are interested in adding Report Studio to your ClickTime subscription or increasing the number of Editor licenses you carry (see below for more regarding Editors), please reach out to us at support@clickime.com.
Please Note: Report Studio replaces BI&A as a custom report writing module. As of November 2024, It is not yet widely available to all ClickTime customers. We will be sending updates in the coming weeks regarding our rollout timeline.
Accessing Report Studio
Once Report Studio is a part of your ClickTime subscription, you organization can provision their Manager and Administrator Users in two ways:
- Viewers: Report Studio Viewers can open existing reports-built by ClickTime, or shared with them. They are not able to make edits to reports, or create reports from scratch. Users only can view data that they already have permission to access. Meaning, if a manager is limited to only view people in certain divisions, or only view projects that they manage, Report Studio will only display that data. You can learn more about permissions in ClickTime here.
- Editors: Report Studio Editors can view existing reports, create new reports, and make changes to reports they have permission to edit. To be an Editor, require an Editor license. These are available to both Managers and Administrators but not Standard users. For customers on a Premier plan, two Editor licenses are included in this package.
