Reports help managers review team hours, project activity, and other time-related information. In this guide, you’ll learn how to open Reports, choose a basic report, set simple filters, and view the results.
Before You Begin
Before running a report, make sure:
- You’re logged in to ClickTime.
- You have access to the Company area.
- You have permission to view reports.
- You know the date range or team members you want to review.
The reports and data you see may depend on your organization’s settings and your permissions.
Step 1: Open Reports
From the Company area, click Reports in the navigation bar.
Step 2: Select a Report
In the Report Center, choose the report you want to run. For example, under People reports, you might start with a report that summarizes time by person, project, or task.
For example, a project and task summary report can help you review how team hours are distributed across work.
Step 3: Set Report Filters
After selecting a report, set the report criteria. Depending on the report, you may be able to choose a date range, report format, approval status, people, divisions, or employment types.
For a simple manager review, start by selecting the date range and people you want to include.
Step 4: Run the Report
When your filters are set, click Run Report.
The report opens with the results based on the criteria you selected.

Managers commonly use reports to:
