Time Entry Reports let you review your own hours and track progress against company requirements. Reports are available from the My Reports page.
Important: If you are not provisioned for access to Company → Reports, the reports on My Reports are the only reports available to you in ClickTime and will be your only option for running reports.
This article is for employees using the My Reports page to review their own time, check completion against requirements, and download or print timesheets for their records.
Summary: Use My Reports to review your own logged hours in grid or chronological formats, verify whether you’ve met daily/weekly minimums, summarize hours by Project and Task, and export or print timesheets. These reports only include your own entries.
Use these reports to:
- View your time entries in detailed grid or chronological formats
- Check whether you’ve met daily or weekly minimum hour requirements (if your organization uses them)
- Summarize hours by Project and Task
- Export or print timesheets for reference
These tools are designed for individuals to manage and validate their own time. If you have access to Company → Reports, you can run organization-wide reports there.
Where to find My Reports
- Log in to ClickTime.
- From the top navigation, go to Personal → My Reports.
Tip: Need a spreadsheet export? Use the Vertical Timesheet report and select Excel. Summary reports display on screen only.
Jump to
- Horizontal Timesheet
- Vertical Timesheet
- My Time Entry Completion
- Project & Task Summary
- Task Summary
When you select a report, ClickTime shows a preview with sample data. To run your own report, click Run Report.
Horizontal Timesheet
The Horizontal Timesheet report displays your time entries in a grid format so you can see which Projects and Tasks you worked on by day.
Choose your report criteria:
- Format – HTML (expand/collapse data) or PDF
- Split into Timesheets – View each timesheet separately, or aggregate (max 31 days)
- Options – Include notes, custom fields, or Start/End/Break times
- Display – Choose whether to show Clients or Tasks (Projects always display)
After setting your date range, click Run Report.
In HTML view, you can expand/collapse rows, adjust the Options menu, or print. Printing creates a PDF version that includes any extra details you enabled.

If Split into Timesheets is selected, the PDF also includes submission and approval details (who and when).
Tip: The Horizontal Timesheet report functions much like Timesheet View, but focuses only on your own entries.
Vertical Timesheet
The Vertical Timesheet report lists your time entries in chronological order, with daily totals.
Choose a format (HTML, PDF, or Excel), set your date range, and click Run Report. In HTML, you can scroll entries, export to another format, or print.
My Time Entry Completion
The My Time Entry Completion report shows whether you are meeting your organization’s minimum daily or weekly entry requirements (if your organization uses an Incomplete Time Entry rule).
- Daily minimums – Red cells indicate missing hours
- Weekly minimums – Grey blocks show weeks not meeting the requirement
Click a block to jump directly to the corresponding week in Week View to fill in hours.
For managers/admins: To track completion for others, see the Incomplete Time Entry guide.
Project & Task Summary
The Project & Task Summary aggregates all your hours for the selected period, grouped by Project and Task within each Client.
Choose a date range and run the report. Results display on screen only (not printable/exportable).
Task Summary
The Task Summary aggregates your hours by Task only.
Select your date range and click Run Report. Results display on screen only.
Summary
The My Reports page helps employees track their own hours with flexible formats like Horizontal and Vertical Timesheets, completion checks, and summaries. Use these personal reports to validate your time and keep yourself on track.
If you need additional reporting beyond what’s available in My Reports, contact your Administrator to discuss access to Company → Reports.
